General Forum Rules

Be Polite
We are here to have fun and exchange opinions between youths and most Malaysians. Avoid personal attacks to other members, and rude statements in your posts.

Keep It Clean
Cakap2.com is rated for all ages. Avoid posting material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature. This includes sexually explicit avatars, sexist jokes, use of violent sexual language, unwanted sexual advances, and anything else that could be hurtful and offensive.

Be Sensitive to Others
Avoid posting material containing profanity, racism, vulgarity, hate speech, or threats of violence.

Try to stay on topic
If you suddenly come up with a pressing question on another subject, start a new thread with it

No Advertisement Allowed
No advertisement is allowed in any forum .Website links in the signature are fine as long as they don’t link to sexual or illegal websites. You may post your website links only if it adds value to the discussion.



Additional Forum Posting Rules

1. Please use small letters in your post. Writing in all capital letters is considered yelling and is against the forum etiquette. However you may use capital letters to highly important points as necessary.
2. When replying to a post, please do not reply with smilies only except when absolutely necessary. Posts that contain large amounts of smilies and/or spaces are not allowed.
3. When composing a post, use a normal font size and not the large/largest size except for the message titles. Large font in some sentences are allowed when highlighting important points, that is as long as you don't go overboard.
4. Please use a language that can be understood by everyone. Use English/Malay/local language only.
5. Use a readable font face and format in your posts. Using the default format is highly encouraged.
6. Please do not post for the sake of increasing your post count. Very short posts that do not add value to the current discussion are not allowed. For example, a post with only the words "hi", “setuju”, "hmmmm" is considered spam unless they are done in the context of the discussion.
7. Double postings are considered as spam. Use the delete button to delete one of the duplicate posts.
8. Posts like "username, I have a question for you" are considered spam. They should be done via private messaging.
9. Do not starting a new topic when a similar topic has already been started.
10. Copy and paste posts are generally not encouraged unless they add values and stimulate discussions. Be sure to include a link where the info came from.
11. Do not mix capitals and small caps LiKe ThIs. BeCaUsE ThEy ArE HaRd tO rEaD.
12. Promoting URLs in your first post is considered spamming unless the mention is done without expecting anything in return. Posts that are motivated by financial gains will be deleted without warnings unless they are posted in the Produk/Perkhidmatan forum.
13. Do not use a video as your signature.



What Happens If I Break The Rules?

If you break the rules, your post may be edited by one of the admins or moderators and if necessary a warning will be issued. In certain situation, your post count may be reduced.

If the offence is considered serious, your post will be deleted without warnings. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" will only make matters worse so please don't.

Should you have already been issued five warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued a temporary ban - your posting privileges will be disabled for several days/months, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and or deliberate rule-breakers your account will be banned. That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and your account will no longer function. If you re-register, your new account will be banned immediately and any new topics/posts will automatically be removed, regardless of their nature.

We do not issue any warnings for offences considered as very serious. In such case, your account including all your posts will be DELETED immediately.

Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. The webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators or moderators (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

If you find a post which is not in accordance with the forum rules, please alert us using the report button. This will inform the administrators and moderators alerting us about the post. You may also report other problems via PM to the administrators and moderators.
